Our Film Digitization Process

- Log and Tag: We log your film into our system and tag it to ensure its uniquely identified as yours.
- Inspection: We inspect the film for condition, checking for issues like vinegar syndrome and water or humidity damage.
- Footage Estimation: We visually estimate the footage length to provide a pricing estimate based on footage and additional factors.
- Basic Cleaning: A basic film cleaning is included; extra cleaning or conditioning (e.g., for water damage) incurs an additional charge.
- Over Scanned Files: We offer unedited over scanned AVI files that include the edges of each frame for use in future /editing.
- Frame-by-Frame Scanning: Each frame is scanned individually, with options to receive files in TIF or JPG formats.
- Custom File Naming: File naming is done according to your specifications.
- Film With Audio: We can capture magnetic and optical audio
- Metadata: Metadata details can be added for an additional charge based on the time required.
- User-Access MP4 File: We include a color-corrected and cropped 1080P MP4 file for easy viewing and use.
- Storage Media Options: Professional external hard drives, archival gold DVDs with sleeves, and archival-grade film canisters are available for long-term storage.
